As a Lead Bioinformatician at M:M Bio, Heiko focuses on supporting the clinical trial and translational aspects at Greywolf Therapeutics. With several years of experience in analysing and integrating ‘omics datasets in the oncology space, Heiko has become an expert in his field. He is a highly valued team player who thrives in collaborative work environments and has a proven track record of mentoring, supervising, and training students.
Heiko completed his postgraduate training at Massachusetts General Hospital, the National Cancer Institute, and the Broad Institute. During this time, he developed innovative methods for predicting novel tumour genes and cancer dependencies by integrating protein-protein interaction data with genomic data.
Originally from Germany, Heiko holds a Diploma in Bioinformatics from the University of Applied Sciences Giessen-Friedberg and a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Copenhagen. His work has earned him numerous awards and grants.
